Hitachi’s 1/2-inch cordless, keyless hammer drills include the 14-volt DV14DV and 18-volt DV18DV models. Both feature an adjustable slip-clutch with 22 stages, the most in their competitive classes. Powered by a durable, fan-cooled motor, the DV14DV has an impact rate of 0-18,000 bpm and torque of 346 inch-pounds, while the DV18DV is top in its class with a rate of 0-22,500 bpm and torque of 400 inch-pounds. The tools feature a one-touch speed shift knob to adjust the two-speed transmission.
