Powers Fasteners cast-in-place anchors
Powers Fasteners introduced two pre-cast inserts. The Bang-it insert is used with metal composite pan decking; the Wood-Knocker insert is for use with wooden forms. The Bang-It is made up of a spring-loaded impact plate over the body of the insert and a protective plastic sleeve that prevents fire- or sound-proofing materials from clogging the threads. Wood-Knocker inserts are installed into wooden forms with a hammer before concrete is poured.
