Maintenance-free hypoid saw
The new Makita 7 1/4-inch hypoid saw has precision-machined, maintenance-free gears, eliminating oil changing. The 15-pound, 15-amp unit has a significantly higher power-to-weight ratio than other worm-drive circular saws. The thick gauge plate is treated to resist rusting and warping and allows up to 50-degree beveling for truss and rafter cutouts. External-access brushes make replacement easy. A rubberized grip improves overall control while minimizing operator fatigue.
